This place was fantastic, from the minute you walk in your welcomed with extremely attentive, friendly staff, the recommendations were excellent & the special of the day was delicious.🤤
We weren’t too hungry so we got light bites but I will be back to try a LOT more of the menu, the portions, flavours, choice is all amazing. 🤩
I went to Gringos in Drogheda with a friend and we had such a great time. The food was absolutely amazing and the whole atmosphere of the restaurant is just perfect – really fun, lively, and welcoming. It’s one of those places where you instantly feel comfortable and can just enjoy the evening.
Everything we ordered was delicious. I had the Pesky Pescado (fish tacos), the loaded nachos, and the vegetarian Chili del Diablo, and every dish was fantastic. You can really tell the food is made with care and full of flavor. For dessert we had the margarita cheesecake mousse – a tequila and lime-infused cheesecake mousse served in a margarita glass with ginger biscuit and lime – and a brownie with ice cream. Both were absolutely delicious.
A special mention also goes to our waitress Paola. She was absolutely wonderful – friendly, attentive, and just added so much to the whole experience. The entire staff was really nice and welcoming.
The only small thing I would say is that I noticed on the website a dessert called the cinnamon-dusted churro taco – a crispy churro shell shaped like a taco, coated in cinnamon sugar and filled with chocolate cream with a coconut sprinkle. It sounded incredible and I was really hoping to try it, but it seems it’s no longer on the menu. I’d absolutely love to see it come back someday!
Overall, we had such a great experience and will definitely be back again. Highly recommend!
